Complementary Therapies and Illness
I intend to write a lot on this subject and expand over time,
but as you can believe, it is something that requires careful thought and
application, so please bear with me!
There are many good books that go into the theory of healing and
the application of complementary therapies. One such is my reference
R1, edited by Peter Mackereth & Denise
Tiran. It is written in a very authoritative way, rather as a scientific text,
drawing on many references.
Complementary therapies help to soothe the body and aid orthodox medicine. They
also help the mind/body connection. Thought is a powerful thing and a good
reference for this is
G13, by Dr Keith Mason, an eminent
complementary practitioner. This book is very worth reading!
